Gayatri Nair

Gayatri Nair currently works at Domestic Violence NSW as a Sector Development Specialist.

Gayatri has worked in human rights, gender and diversity throughout her career. She has been a community lawyer in policy, research, and advocacy in both the government and the non-government sectors in Australia and overseas. Most recently, she worked at Redfern Legal Centre's Financial Abuse Service in policy and capacity building and was also a Coordinator for the Economic Abuse Reference Group. She is also a writer and has been published in the Guardian on coercive control.
